"Can I Talk to You, C-Ville?" is a powerful conversation series that amplifies marginalized voices on critical issues and bridges the gap between residents and decision-makers.
Originally spearheaded by Vinegar Hill Magazine and In My Humble Opinion Talk Show supported by a grant from the American Press Institute (API) in 2023, it is now an official program of Charlottesville Inclusive Media.
It provides a forum for these voices to be heard on issues shaping their lives and the broader community. The project tackles two key goals: illuminating the challenges faced by under-resourced and underinvested communities and bridging the gap between residents and policy-makers.
